Kate Fraser

Research Student

During my time as an undergraduate at ฮ็านัฐปจ my interest in the deep-sea was cemented during my dissertation project. I then had the opportunity to study benthic invertebrates in greater detail during my MRes project. I can now apply my taxonomic skills and great passion for the deep-sea benthos during my PhD research.

Deep connections: How do changes in deep sea faunal communities relate to surface physics and biology?

Using benthic samples taken from the mid-1970s until 2016, I aim to study how deep seabed faunal communities have changed in relation to surface biotic and abiotic factors over four decades.
