NERC grant success for ҹѰ

The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) has released the results of its latest responsive-mode funding round (2008-09) and ҹѰ' scientists have had a record success in attracting competitive funding. Eight research projects have been funded, attracting a total of £1.2 M: a record result for ҹѰ in this funding arena.

ҹѰ director Professor Laurence Mee said: “ҹѰ staff have done a great job this year in attracting NERC responsive mode funding. It is not easy to get research funded, and I believe we are in a good position to continue to produce relevant, innovative and competitive research proposals."
